Phillip has spent four decades behind the chair, in a career that began under his first mentor on Chicago’s Oak Street and grew into a cutting, styling, and extension approach that’s entirely his own. For Phillip, every cut comes with a lesson. He teaches each client how to care for and style their hair at home, so great hair doesn’t end when the appointment does. As owner of 3rd Coast Salon, he brings that same teaching spirit to his team. He’s an IDFPR-approved continuing education provider who trains stylists with in-salon classes. Those standards shape everything at 3rd Coast, where he and his team never stop learning, so every client gets the benefit of both experience and what’s next.
