Meet the Team

3rd Coast Salon runs on specialists. Rather than have one stylist cover every service, the salon keeps people who own a service area, so a color correction goes to the person who does color correction all week and not to whoever happens to have an opening. Some of the team take online bookings, and the rest you reach by calling us.

The Team

Phillip owns the salon and works the floor alongside the team.

Phillip Fowler, Owner, Stylist and Educator

Phillip owns 3rd Coast Salon and works the floor. Precision cutting and every extension service the salon offers, and he mentors and teaches the rest of the team. Book with Phillip for a cut built on structure that grows out cleanly, or to start extensions with the owner doing the install.

Kevin, Master Colorist and Color Educator

Kevin is the master colorist here and he teaches color technique to the rest of the team. Balayage, foil highlights, gloss and color melt, and he is the one people come to for reds. Book with Kevin to add dimension or pull your tone back where you want it.

Amarii, Color Correction and Textured Hair Specialist

Amarii handles color correction and textured hair. Bleach and tone, layered color, and the multi-pass work that needs a plan rather than a single appointment. She also does updos. Book with Amarii if a past color went wrong or you are going lighter than your hair has been.

Lydia, Fantasy Color and Extensions Specialist

Lydia does fantasy color, vivids and pastels, alongside extensions and cutting. Those colors depend on getting the hair lifted clean and even first, so she treats them as their own service. Book with Lydia for a vivid result or to have extensions and color handled by one person.

Tammy, Stylist

Tammy covers color, cutting and styling. Call the salon to book with Tammy.

Nashali, Colorist and Stylist

Nashali is a colorist and stylist. She takes color appointments and blowouts, and her service list is growing. Book her online or bring what you are after to the consultation.

Booking With the Right Person

Chair hours are Tuesday to Friday 10am to 7pm, and Saturday 9am to 5pm. Closed Sunday and Monday. Phillip, Kevin, Amarii, Lydia, Nashali and Monika take online bookings. For everyone else, call (312) 929-2627 and we will get you with the right stylist.
